MAKING NSGC THE GO-TO SOURCE FOR A LITTLE-KNOWN HEALTHCARE PROFESSION

With the growing use of at-home genetic tests and genetic testing in healthcare, it’s critical that consumers understand the role of genetic counselors. For more than 10 years, PCI has worked with the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) to establish the association and its members as a go-to source for national media while expanding the Society’s social media presence to a following of more than 21,410 highly engaged members. PCI continues to help NSGC achieve its consumer education goals through an integrated program of media relations, blog management, website optimization, social media activity and publicity surrounding the NSGC Annual Conference.
