Illinois Prairie Conservations Storytelling

PEGGY NOTEBARET NATURE MUSUEM AND LINCOLN PARK ZOO

SHOWCASE
ILLINOIS PRAIRIE CONSERVATIONS

IMPORTANT SCIENTIFIC SPECIES RECOVERY WORK THROUGHOUT ILLINOIS

We have worked with local cultural institutions Lincoln Park Zoo and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum to highlight the important scientific species recovery work underway throughout Illinois.

This includes close collaboration with public land managers, wildlife agencies, private foundations and NGOs who are working with the zoo and museum to restore wildlife and prairie habitat.

From butterflies to box turtles, green snakes to rattlesnakes, and even meadow jumping mice, PCI’s storytellers have secured extensive local, regional and national media interest and placements to increase public awareness about these conservation efforts.

High-value national media placements have included The Economist, CBS News, MSN, Associated Press and more.
